What happened to the Revolution?

4 Students killed – 9 wounded by National Guard Soldiers during a protest of the US invasion of Cambodia held at Kent State Univ in Ohio – May 4, 1970
We thought we had it all worked out … we were going to change the world. We were the hippies and the youthful thinkers of the 60’s and 70’s. We did accomplish a lot, but we never finished the job. Segregation was ended – racial equality became the law of the land – we ended the nightmare of a war in Vietnam – the Stonewall riots happened – the Peace Corps was well staffed. We fought with the Establishment and in many cases we won!
