The Attorney General of North Carolina has spoken. His office took over the case of the 3 former Duke students originally accused of raping one of two exotic dancers in Durham. Yesterday, his office not only dropped the remaining charges against the 3 defendants but he has declared that they are innocent. Not simply not guilty, but totally innocent of wrong doing. They determined that charges should never have been brought against the former students who will be dogged by these accusations for the rest of their lives.

Where is the justice? The accuser and the DA should both be in jail!

Yesterday, Gabino and I made a day trip down to the Wilmington area. We started out at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington. A very nice park, the flowers were lovely. The lake a bit overgrown and not too pretty. The entry fee was a bit on the high side considering that it is a county park. And they are decidedly not dog friendly!
